What it is

Typically a two-to-four-week, fixed-scope engagement to understand how work moves through your development process. I analyse delivery times, waiting work, and bottlenecks, then build a working dashboard. I identify misleading measures and agree how to correct them, so you can make decisions using figures that reflect how your team actually works.

How we start and hand over

We first agree the questions you need answered, the teams and workflow in scope, and the delivery data available. I’ll need access to the relevant work-tracking records and time with the people who manage and deliver the work. Before starting, we agree where the dashboard will run, who will maintain it, and how it will be handed over. Any work to implement the recommended process changes is agreed separately.
