Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026Who I am
This site is operated by Lilywood Consulting Ltd. For any question about how your data is handled, contact Mark Mirfin at mark.mirfin@lilywoodconsulting.co.uk.
What data I collect
This site does not use analytics or marketing cookies (see the Cookie Policy below). The only personal data I receive is whatever you choose to send me — for example, through the contact form, or by emailing me directly — such as your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message.
How the contact form works
The contact form on this site is delivered using Formspree, a third-party form-processing service. When you submit the form, your name, email address, and message are sent to Formspree's servers (based in the United States) and forwarded to my inbox by email. Formspree does not use your data for any purpose of its own beyond delivering the message. See Formspree's own privacy policy at formspree.io for details of how they process data on my behalf.
How I use your data
I use the information you send only to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to deliver that work. I don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Lawful basis
I process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to a request you've initiated — and, where we enter a working relationship, on the basis of performing that contract.
How long I keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you or, where a working relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship and any legal retention period after it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it's used. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Cookie Policy
This site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies of any kind. When you first visit, a small preference is stored in your browser's local storage purely to remember whether you've seen the cookie notice — this is strictly necessary to the site's operation and doesn't require your consent under UK PECR rules, and no data leaves your device as a result of it.
If analytics or any other non-essential tracking is added to this site in future, the consent banner will be updated to ask for your permission before it loads, and this policy will be updated to describe it.
